In 1923, the Entomological Society of Queensland was born, with the national body (the Australian Entomological Society) to follow some 40 years later, in 1965. Since then, Queensland remains a significant State in Australia’s entomological community and the ESQ has grown to over 400 members and has entered its Centennial year.
