We cordially invite the general public to join us for a Centenary Celebration: a day of Entomology at the Queensland Museum on Tuesday the 9th of May 2023!
The full-day Symposium, titled ‘One-hundred years strong: a celebration of Queensland entomology‘ represents an opportunity for Members and non-Members alike to attend and present alongside our four keynote speakers: David Yeates, Tanya Latty, David Merritt and Sarah Corcoran.
Running from 8am–5pm on the day, and including welcome tea/coffee, morning & afternoon tea, and lunch, the day promises to deliver a packed schedule of not only fantastic presentations, but also an opportunity to gather, network, and celebrate 100 years of one of Australia’s oldest continually operating scientific societies.
Note: this is an in-person event and will not be available virtually.
Tickets to attend the event may be purchased from Eventbrite. There is a range of ticketing options to cover members, non-members and students. Get in EARLY to obtain a discount!
Submissions of abstracts are now invited. Visit the Entomological Society’s webpage for more information.
